The Track graphic is the sport-focused colourway in the Avalon X range, black base with yellow and blue accents that land squarely in sportsbike territory. It suits nakeds and sports bikes equally well and carries that Italian design confidence that Caberg, based in Bergamo since 1974, consistently bring to even their most accessible helmets.

The ABS shell is produced in two sizes, small covering XS to M and large covering L to XXL, so every size gets a shell that is proportionate to the head inside it rather than relying on excess padding to fill a shell that is too large. At 1,500g on the small shell, it sits within the expected range for an ECE 22.06 certified ABS full face helmet. The latest certification standard is a meaningful distinction at this price: many competing helmets in the sub-£150 bracket still carry the older ECE 22.05 rating.

Ventilation runs through a two-way chin guard vent that drives air onto the inner visor face to prevent misting, two crown vents for fresh air supply, and rear extractors assisted by the integrated spoiler for hot air discharge. The removable nose shield and lower wind-stop manage chin draughts and are easy to pull out for warmer days.

The DVT (Double Visor Tech) system gives you a clear anti-scratch outer visor with four ratchet positions plus a crack-open setting, and an integrated drop-down sun visor operated by a lateral lever. Both visors remove without tools. The outer visor is prepared for an anti-fog insert though the insert is not included, a FogCity lens can be purchased separately and fits without modification if you ride in colder conditions.

The interior uses hypoallergenic breathable fabrics throughout and is fully removable and washable. The micrometric buckle fastens quickly and adjusts precisely with gloves on. The Avalon X carries speaker and microphone housings for Bluetooth intercom fitting, and has been ECE 22.06 tested with the Caberg Pro Speak Evo installed.

Returns

If the product is faulty or defective, you can send it back to us so we can take a look at it and determine what went wrong! Goods that are defective or damaged will have be reported to Big Bike Book within 7 days of delivery. You’ll need to include a copy of your receipt/invoice with your return and then re-package and seal it in the original packaging. There should already be a DHL returns slip in with your order, However, If there isn't Please contact customerservice@feridax.com who will be more than happy to assist you.

If your product is neither faulty nor defective, you can still return it to us, however, a £4.50 return fee will be deducted from the refund. Once processed refunds will enter your account within 5-10 working days. Keep in mind the item will need to be UNUSED, not damaged or defective and returned within 14 days of purchase with the original tags and in original condition including packaging. You’ll need to include a copy of your receipt/invoice with your return and then re-package and seal it in the original packaging.

Please be aware, items returned that are found to be damaged due to Buyer’s fault will mean you would become liable for the cost of remedying such damage and the associated carriage cost.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The DVT (Double Visor Tech) integrated drop-down sun visor is operated by a lateral lever on the left side of the helmet and removes without tools.

No. The outer visor is prepared for an anti-fog insert but the insert is sold separately. A FogCity lens is the compatible option and fits without modification. If you ride regularly in cold or wet UK conditions, adding one is worthwhile.

The Avalon X is Caberg's entry-level full face helmet. It uses an ABS shell rather than the fiberglass shell of the Drift Evo II, and does not include the Drift Evo II's emergency quick-release cheek pad system or SOS Medical ID device. The anti-fog visor insert is also prepared but not included on the Avalon X. For a new or budget-conscious rider the Avalon X delivers strong value; for a more experienced touring rider the Drift Evo II is the step up.
