Description
The Avalon X is Caberg's entry-level full face helmet and it punches well above its price. The ABS shell is produced in two sizes, small covering XS to M and large covering L to XXL, so the helmet is always proportionate to your head rather than padded out to compensate. At 1,500g on the small shell, the weight sits in line with what ECE 22.06 certification demands. That certification is worth noting at this price: a significant number of competing helmets under £150 are still on the older ECE 22.05 standard.
Ventilation runs through a two-way chin guard vent that drives air onto the inner visor face to prevent misting, two crown vents for fresh air supply, and rear extractors working in conjunction with the integrated spoiler. The removable nose shield and lower wind-stop pull out easily for warmer days or longer rides where chin buffeting is not an issue.
The DVT system provides a clear anti-scratch outer visor with four ratchet positions, a useful crack-open setting for micro-ventilation, and quick-release for tool-free removal. The integrated DVT sun visor drops via a lateral lever on the left side and removes without tools. The outer visor is prepared for an anti-fog insert, not included, but a FogCity lens fits without modification for those who ride regularly in cold or wet conditions.
The interior is hypoallergenic and breathable throughout, fully removable and washable. The micrometric buckle fastens securely and adjusts with winter gloves on. Pre-cut speaker and microphone housings make intercom fitting straightforward, and the helmet is ECE 22.06 tested with the Caberg Pro Speak Evo installed.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to track your package on the carrier's website.
Returns
If the product is faulty or defective, you can send it back to us so we can take a look at it and determine what went wrong! Goods that are defective or damaged will have be reported to Big Bike Book within 7 days of delivery. You’ll need to include a copy of your receipt/invoice with your return and then re-package and seal it in the original packaging. There should already be a DHL returns slip in with your order, However, If there isn't Please contact customerservice@feridax.com who will be more than happy to assist you.
If your product is neither faulty nor defective, you can still return it to us, however, a £4.50 return fee will be deducted from the refund. Once processed refunds will enter your account within 5-10 working days. Keep in mind the item will need to be UNUSED, not damaged or defective and returned within 14 days of purchase with the original tags and in original condition including packaging. You’ll need to include a copy of your receipt/invoice with your return and then re-package and seal it in the original packaging.
Please be aware, items returned that are found to be damaged due to Buyer’s fault will mean you would become liable for the cost of remedying such damage and the associated carriage cost.
