Description
The Optic graphic carries a gloss white base with blue and red accents, clean, bright, and unmistakably Italian in spirit. It is the most visible of the three Avalon X graphic colourways and the one that reads most clearly as a sport-inspired helmet at a distance. For riders coming off a white-based sportsbike or anyone who wants their helmet noticed, the Optic is the natural choice in the range.
The Avalon X is Caberg's entry-level full face helmet, built in Bergamo and carrying ECE 22.06 certification, the current European safety standard. At the sub-£150 price point, that certification is a genuine differentiator. Many competing helmets in this bracket still carry the older ECE 22.05 standard. The ABS shell is produced in two sizes, small covering XS to M and large covering L to XXL, giving every size a shell that is proportionate rather than padded out.
Ventilation runs through a two-way chin guard vent driving air onto the inner visor face to prevent misting, two crown vents for fresh air supply, and rear extractors working with the integrated spoiler to remove hot and stale air. The removable nose shield and lower wind-stop pull out cleanly for warmer conditions.
The DVT system provides a clear anti-scratch outer visor with four ratchet positions and a useful crack-open setting, plus an integrated drop-down sun visor operated by a lateral lever on the left side. Both visors remove without tools. The outer visor is prepared for an anti-fog insert, not included, but a FogCity lens fits without modification for year-round UK riding.
The interior is fully removable and washable, made from hypoallergenic breathable fabrics. The micrometric buckle fastens and adjusts precisely with gloves on. Pre-cut speaker and microphone housings make the helmet intercom-ready, and it has been ECE 22.06 tested with the Caberg Pro Speak Evo installed.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to track your package on the carrier's website.
Returns
If the product is faulty or defective, you can send it back to us so we can take a look at it and determine what went wrong! Goods that are defective or damaged will have be reported to Big Bike Book within 7 days of delivery. You’ll need to include a copy of your receipt/invoice with your return and then re-package and seal it in the original packaging. There should already be a DHL returns slip in with your order, However, If there isn't Please contact customerservice@feridax.com who will be more than happy to assist you.
If your product is neither faulty nor defective, you can still return it to us, however, a £4.50 return fee will be deducted from the refund. Once processed refunds will enter your account within 5-10 working days. Keep in mind the item will need to be UNUSED, not damaged or defective and returned within 14 days of purchase with the original tags and in original condition including packaging. You’ll need to include a copy of your receipt/invoice with your return and then re-package and seal it in the original packaging.
Please be aware, items returned that are found to be damaged due to Buyer’s fault will mean you would become liable for the cost of remedying such damage and the associated carriage cost.
