Frequently asked questions
Is the Shoei X-SPR Pro road legal in the UK?
What's the difference between the X-SPR Pro and the old X-Spirit 3?
Does the Shoei X-SPR Pro come with a Pinlock?
Can I use the Shoei X-SPR Pro on a track day?
The X-SPR Pro is Shoei's ultimate race helmet and the Diggia2 TC-1 graphic is one of the sharpest colourways in their lineup. This is the helmet worn by Shoei-sponsored riders in MotoGP, WSBK and BSB. It's wind-tunnel developed, FIM homologated, and built to perform at speeds exceeding 350km/h. If you ride a sportsbike hard, on road or track, this is the helmet that belongs on your head.
The shell is built using Shoei's AIM+ technology, six layers of glass fibre, organic fibre and high-performance composite materials bonded together to create a shell that's exceptionally strong without being heavy. At 1,450g, it's one of the lightest helmets in its class. The multi-density EPS liner underneath works with the shell to manage impact energy across different types of collision, not just direct hits.
Aerodynamics aren't an afterthought here, they're the whole point. Over 150 shape changes were made compared to the X-Spirit 3, all developed in Shoei's own wind tunnel. The rear stabiliser with adjustable flaps, integrated spoiler, vortex generators and lower air spoiler work together to reduce drag and lift by 3%, keeping the helmet planted and stable whether you're tucked in at 150mph or sat upright filtering through traffic.
The CWR-F2R visor is the same wide-aperture unit used on the NXR2, with the addition of tear-off posts for track use. It comes Pinlock-ready out of the box and locks securely at speed via a double-lock system, visor release is mechanically blocked until you choose to open it. Clear vision at any speed, in any conditions.
Inside, the padding is fully modular, cheek pads come in four thicknesses (31, 35, 39, 43mm) so you can dial in the fit to your exact head shape. The helmet is also prepared for a hydration system, making it genuinely capable for endurance use. Everything is detachable and machine washable.
